Every word in your server is for sale.
Say it first. Buy the deed. Collect rent every time your friends say it.
Free. No coins for sale, ever. Never stores what you type.
Three steps to landlordship
No new app, no channels to set up. Your server keeps chatting and Wordlord quietly does the paperwork.
Say it first
Chat like normal. Be the first to say a word nobody owns and it's your find, reserved for you for 24 hours.
Buy the deed
Claim your best finds from 10 coins. You set the price, and pay 2% of it in tax each day.
Collect rent
Every time someone else says your word, the bank pays you rent. Talking never costs anyone a coin.
Stretched words and typos still pay rent
Nobody types properly in chat, so Wordlord doesn't make you. It reads what you meant and pays the owner anyway.
馃槷 Stretched words count in full
Any letter repeated three or more times shrinks back to the real word. Stretching can't sneak a blocked word past the filter either.
馃う Typos count for half
A word one slip away from an everyday or owned word pays its owner 50% rent. Typos can't be found or owned, only words of 5+ letters are checked, and if a slip could be two different words, it's left alone.

A landlord who loves forms a little too much
- Hostile takeoversAnyone can buy your word for its price plus 15%. The new owner gets a 12-hour shield.
- Property taxYou pay 2% of your price each day. Can't pay? Your word is foreclosed.
- The Daily LandlordOne short digest a day: landlord of the day, hottest word, takeovers and evictions. No spam.
Your empire, on one card
/profile draws your landlord card right in the chat: coins, words, portfolio value and open finds./word shows the title deed. Post them, compare them, start a rivalry.

Numbers that keep it fair
Tuned over simulated seasons so busy servers don't print money and alt accounts don't pay. The full rules are in the economy guide.
馃敀 Never stores your messages
Words are counted in memory and forgotten. The database holds words, owners and balances. That's it.
馃獧 Play money only
Coins can't be bought or cashed out, and nobody can pay for an advantage. Any future perks are cosmetic.
馃か Quiet by design
Wordlord doesn't answer every message. A reaction when you find a word, and one digest a day.
Before you sign the lease
Does it read my messages?
It reads them the way a spellchecker does: in memory, for a moment, to spot words. Message text is never saved anywhere. Only words, owners and coin balances are stored.
Do I lose coins if I say someone's word?
Never. Rent is paid by the bank, not by the person talking. People who haven't joined can chat freely and still pay owners rent from the bank.
Can I buy coins?
No, and you never will. Coins are play money: they can't be bought, sold, cashed out or traded for anything outside the game.
Can someone steal my word?
Yes, that's the fun part. Anyone can take over a word by paying your price plus a 15% fee, and the price goes to you. Price your best words high, but remember the daily tax.
What happens at the end of a season?
Seasons last 6 weeks. The deeds go back in the drawer and everyone starts fresh, but your coins stay in your wallet.
