Short version: Wordlord counts words and forgets the messages.
What Wordlord reads
Messages in channels it can see, so it can spot words. Each message is split into words in memory and then discarded. Message text is never written to a database, log or file.
What Wordlord stores
- Discord ids of players and servers (numbers, not names), and when accounts were created.
- Which words are owned, by whom, and their prices.
- Coin balances and a ledger of coin movements (claims, rent, tax, takeovers).
- Daily counts per server: how many messages and active people, not what they said.
- Server settings: the home channel, blocked words, the server street and whether the games are on.
- How many times each short invite link (like
/i/reddit) was clicked per day. Nothing about who clicked.
The website
Logging in to the dashboard with Discord shares your username, avatar and the list of your servers. The site uses the server list once, to show which of your servers have Wordlord, and keeps only those in a login cookie for a week. It doesn't keep your Discord login token.
Names and avatars on leaderboards are fetched from Discord when the page is shown, and aren't stored.
Money
Wordlord has nothing to buy. Coins are play money and can't be bought, sold or exchanged for anything outside the game.
