Seasons
Wordlord runs in seasons of 6 weeks, so latecomers always get a fair shot at the good words.
What resets
- All words go back on the market. Every deed in every server returns to the drawer.
- Finds, prices and takeover shields go with them.
What stays
- Your coins. Your wallet carries over, so a good season sets you up for the next land grab.
- A fresh 100 coins: use
/joinin the new season to collect them.
The land rush
The opening days of a season are a rush for the best words. For the first 48 hours each player can claim only a few words a day, and one message gives at most 3 finds, so whoever hoarded coins last season can't buy the whole dictionary on day one.
Season themes
Every season has a theme, such as Monsoon Madness, Exam Season or Cricket Fever. The theme's words are hot property and earn 1.5x rent all season. /season shows the theme and its words.
Eviction Week
The last 48 hours of a season are Eviction Week: takeovers cost only 10% on top of the price, and the Gavel runs twice a day. Guard your best words.
What never resets
- Your coins, your estate rank and your collecting streak.
- Coined Words in the Lexicon. Their coiners get first find on them at every reset.
- Your server's town project badges.
Hall of fame
When a season ends, the top three landlords of each server go into the hall of fame, posted in the home channel.
Season 1 is over. The deeds go back in the drawer; your coins stay in your pocket.
