Daily events
Wordlord pays you for chatting, but a landlord's day has a few chores and a few treasure hunts. None of them need you to spam commands: most happen inside normal conversation.
Rent day
Rent waits in your rent box until you /collect it. The box holds 12 hours of rent; older rent spills back to the bank. Every collection comes with a rent report: who said which of your words, and how much it earned you. Collect on consecutive days to build a streak:
| Streak | Title |
|---|---|
| 3 days | Punctual Collector |
| 7 days | Rent Hawk |
| 14 days | Iron Fist of Tenancy |
| 30 days | The Landlord Who Never Sleeps |
Lost Deeds
Every day each server gets 3 hidden words, picked from the streets. The Daily Landlord digest and /deeds give a riddle for each: the street, the number of letters and the first letter. The first player to work one into a normal message wins the deed for free, plus a bounty of 30–60 coins.
No dictionary dumps: messages over 30 words don't count, and each player gets one guess every 20 seconds. Guessing inside a sentence is the fun part.
The Gavel
Prime words (the busiest words, like bruh or love) cost 150 coins to claim, one a day. The Gavel is the other way in: once a day at 15:00 UTC (8:30 pm in India), one goes under the hammer in the home channel. Bidding opens at 90 coins and runs for 10 minutes. Bid with /bid or the button on the auction card.
- Each bid must beat the last by 5 coins or 5%, whichever is more.
- A bid in the last 30 seconds adds 30 seconds, up to 20 minutes in total. No sniping.
- The winner pays their bid and every coin is burned. The word comes with a 12-hour shield.
- If the top bidder can't pay when the hammer falls, the next bid wins.
Land Rush
When a season resets, everyone knows which words were the busiest last season. So nobody gets to grab them just by being online at the reset: for the first 48 hours of a season, prime words and the server's 24 most used words from last season can't be found or claimed. The Gavel sells them every 3 hours instead, busiest first, with the usual rules. After that, whatever is left goes back to normal: say it first, claim it.
Secret schemes
/scheme deals you a secret word for the day, usually one of your own. Get 3 other people to say it before midnight UTC, without saying it yourself, and you earn 40 coins (and the rent, if it's your word).
But the server is watching. If someone thinks you're steering the conversation, they can /accuse @you word. A right accusation busts your scheme and the accuser takes the reward. A wrong one costs them 20 coins. Everyone gets 3 accusations a day.
