Games

Five quick games for landlords with coins burning a hole in their pocket. Bets are 5–100 coins, and you can place 30 a day.

The games are off in every server until an admin opens the casino with /setup games on. /setup games off closes it again.

Play money only. Coins can never be bought, sold or cashed out, so nothing real is ever at stake. The house wins in the long run on purpose: the coins it keeps are burned, which keeps the economy from inflating, and nobody can win more than 150 coins from games in a day. Gambling is for fun, not for getting rich. Owning words is how you get rich.

Double or Evicted

/flip coins. You win 45% of the time and your bet doubles. Otherwise your coins are evicted.

Property Slots

/slots coins. Three reels:

On average the slots pay back about 82% of what goes in, and the flip about 90%.

Landlord's Blackjack

/blackjack coins, then tap Hit, Stand or Double. Closest to 21 without going over wins and pays 2x your bet. Three house rules keep the landlord comfortable: a natural 21 pays 3:2 (2.5x), the dealer hits a soft 17, and ties go to the landlord. Only you can play your hand, and a hand left alone for 15 minutes stands on its own. Played well it pays back about 89%.

Rent Roll

/dice high coins or /dice low coins. Two dice: high wins on 8 or more, low on 6 or less, and a 7 belongs to the landlord. A right call pays 2.1x, about 87.5% back on average.

Wheel of Misfortune

/wheel coins. One spin, about 87.5% back on average:

The house has noticed you

Once you're 150 coins up from games in a day, the casino closes for you until tomorrow (UTC). A big win that would take you past that is trimmed to fit. Losing has no such limit, so play small.

Where winnings go

Winnings land straight in your wallet. In a server that isn't global yet, they're locked to that server, like rent.
